Why are my Frame.io folders not showing?

If your Frame.io folders or assets are not appearing, this is usually related to permissions or an incomplete connection setup.


🧠 Why this happens

The Frame.io v4 integration requires:

  • Signing in with an Adobe account

  • Granting the correct permissions

  • Having access to the relevant folders in Frame.io

If any of these steps are missing, Kitchn won’t be able to display your folders.


✅ Quick checklist

Before troubleshooting, confirm:

  • You connected the integration named Frame.io” (v4)

  • You signed in with an Adobe account (If you don't have one, you'll need to create one to proceed).

  • Your account has access to the expected folders/assets

  • You completed all permission steps during setup


🛠 How to fix it

  1. Go to Integrations → Frame.io

  2. Reconnect the integration

  3. When prompted:

    • Sign in (or create) an Adobe account

    • Grant all required permissions

  4. Refresh Kitchn

  5. Create a new Launch Sheet and check again


🔍 If folders still don’t appear

  • Confirm you connected the correct Frame.io (v4) integration

  • Check your account permissions in Frame.io

  • Ask a teammate/admin to verify access if using a company account

  • Try reconnecting again


💡 Workaround

You can enable Local Files to upload assets directly from your device while resolving the issue.
